Midnight Cravings!!
After a long day at work, or just in front of a laptop I think the way to relax is to just unwind and have a glass of Chardonnay along with a nice Rom-Com on the screen. Some might say that maybe a better way would be to catch up on that book that one hasn't finished and is just wanting to read it all up. Whatever the way, but unwinding at the end of the day on a Sunday is a must right before the next week begins and the previous one comes to an end.
Its the last day of the week, when you want to just relax and maybe eat that 12:30 Am snack. As healthy as you might be, you still want that Midnight snack to be scrumptious, gooey and delicious with sugary goodness in it that satisfies the MIDNIGHT CRAVINGS!
Recently I came across a recipe of a chocolate cake and boy! was it worth every bite I put in my mouth. Dark and indulgent chocolate cake warmed up for just 30 secs with a beautiful soft - sugary icing and it was heaven in my mouth at 2:30 AM in the night. People say 3am is the devils hour, and I wouldn't deny it ever considering that is the time your body and mind crave for the most scrumptious bite of some Cheat food.
Chocolate cake being so classic and made in every household seems to still hold a place in every mother's heart. It becomes a celebratory cake for the smallest occasions and everyone wants pieces to be left to have the next day. But is it worth the calories?!
ABSO-FUCKING-LUTELY!
A chocolate cake that can make you go Ooh & Aaah while it's in your mouth is definitely worth every calorie. It reminds me of how important it is to indulge yourself in some heavenly goodness sometimes. Have that cheat meal or the cheat activity. Maybe laze around on a weekday afternoon just for the heck of it so that you can enjoy that every bit. Bunk the healthy meal for maybe once and indulge in that gooey cheese burst pizza. Somehow, its like a cheat meal for life and its much too important to miss.
Hence, today on this daughters day when we are all stuck inside our homes and just wanna feel nice and fuzzy inside, I am making my chocolate cake. So go and remove those recipes or ask your mothers for their secret ones and make it and indulge in eating it at 2am when you think the world is a horrible place to be in.
Trust me, a slice of chocolate cake will restore your faith in humanity. But remember to keep it vegan and eggless!
